Bulk is on a distinguished road
Actually as it turns out, the water pump was going bad, from what I can tell - it seized momentarily (because it spun freely after the belt explosion) and caused the belt to overheat and fail which would've happened to any belt.....

Stealer told me that they wouldn't replace the belt unless they replaced the water pump which they would have to get in which wouldn't be until wednesday which means that the car would have to stay with them till then.

so I took the car round the corner, replaced the belt, drove it 45 mins home and am now waiting on a new water pump...... (The pump and belt held up the whole way home )

Happy bloody Australia day
