When the you can't clear the light it usually means that the light actually resets the same codes and the same problem right away.

Internal error, kinda says it all for me.

If it was the occupancy sensor, you would get an occupancy sensor code. And I'm pretty sure there isn't an occupancy sensor on the driver's seat...
