try resetting the system. Not sure if it will help but its worth a shot as a first step to troubleshoot it.

push all three in and hold together at the same time while the screen is on.
-the volume knob
-the cd eject button
-the dvd eject button

release after the screen goes black, it will clear and reboot. Also if you have any phones old or new paired in your idrive delete them all first.
