I have a BSM X5d and love it. Having said that, I will get AW with an aerokit for my next one only because I'm lovin' the AW with tint look
When the BSM has a mirror shine, it looks awesome. I agree its a b*tch to keep clean and it shows swirls, but that's what the car detailers are for
I've never owned a black car and wanted the "bad a$$ but classy" look (BSM with tint) - its a fun look to carry around.
IMO - Not sure if you've never had a black X5 before but it might be fun to try especially since you will be giving it back in a few years.
Either way, ya can't go wrong.
