well the crank case system would be no problem as that would go along with the oil pan, and intake from the x5. i am not sure on the motor mounts though. most of the engines have all the holes drilled and tapped just the mounts are in different locations and orientations.

I wish they would still come into this dealership we dont see those older cars anymore and its hard to look at them to compare before I drop some money on a motor.

i found a few threads that this has been done but no concrete finishes. some start threads then never answer back.
