Extensive modificiation would needed to drill out motor mount brackets holes, and a complete retrofit of the internal crankcase ventilation system to external one would need to be performed.

well the crank case system would be no problem as that would go along with the oil pan, and intake from the x5. i am not sure on the motor mounts though. most of the engines have all the holes drilled and tapped just the mounts are in different locations and orientations.
I wish they would still come into this dealership we dont see those older cars anymore and its hard to look at them to compare before I drop some money on a motor.
