TMC does not work in Australia. Apparently BMW didnt /wouldnt pay the TMC licence costs at the time.

However, the later model BMW's in Australia, Ford and Holden, it does work but Im not sure it is TMC. I think it is something else.

The above information I remember reading somewhere as I tried for months to try and get it to work. I have a NAV 16:9 MK4 and BM radio unit. I retrofitted mine unit, and installed the new loom as well.. It was easy following the tutorial, just time consuming. I did it in over a weekend, about 8 hours all up.
