I agree completely with this, the Verbatim discs are by far the best, and I've never once had them NOT play in any type of player.

You can usually find a spool of them (like 100) at Sam's Club. I forgot what I paid for them last time, but they are not expensive at all. They have a Purple burning surface to them as well which is supposed to be the best, and I can attest that they do work better than any of the others out there...

I've been using the Taiyo Yuden's (the ones listed as second choice) for years in my BMW. My other types of DVD (e.g. DVD+R DL) are Verbatim (but you have to check where they are made).
