I too have the Continental DWS on my '05 X5. I am happy with the traction on wet, snowy or dry roads. I am on the second set with almost average wear. Discount Tire was about $1350 out the door (This is after showing an online ad cheaper somewhere else). The aggressive suspension of the X5 seems to reduce inner tread life though. I still plan on sticking with this tire when ready for another set.
