IMO, plasti-dipping an entire wheel that is in need of some TLC just screams "I'm cheap", especially when the silver on silver is so gorgeous to begin with...no offense

. Whether you plasti-dip your wheels black or not, you'll still see copious amounts of brake dust (abeit, to a lesser extent) that the OEM pads create. Ceramic pads can be had for a little over $100 nowadays.....so why not use the 50ish bucks you would spend on dip, put it towards some decent pads, and get the wheels refinished at a later date? The gloss finish on the 168's makes the curves and contours really pop, why lose that?
