Yeah, if you can make clean edges with an x-acto knife, get a roll of smoke headlight/foglight tint off ebay ($10 or less), and apply it to the clear portion of the light.
Since its not a huge area like wrapping panels of a car with vinyl wrap, bubbles and stuff are real easy to control and the roll has alot of film so you could learn thru trial and error.
Its basically the same film i use to yellow wrap my foglights just smoke color.
