Turn the ignition key to the on position; all lights on dash are on but engine "MUST NOT" running, press the gas pedal all the down to the floor and hold it for 30-40 seconds (make sure the floor mat is not under the gas pedal).
No light shown after the procedure. Transmission is shifting smoother now.
