Okey dokey, thanks for the brutal PM from LA...did not realize things were so rough on the 405...I am simply going to take the high road and suggest that perhaps you have your transmission fluid and/or fluid filter checked: your noise appears to be torque related. If your tranny filter is dirty , or your tranny is low on fluid, it will impede the flow of fluid to the torque converter when at an idle. A dry torque converter will make a noise. When the motor spools up, (when you accelerate) the increased fluid pressure may overcome the effect of the restricted filter and thus the noise goes away. If you have the transmission filter changed, a kit goes for $75 at
