Ryan, less than 100k on our '01, but it just keeps rolling, though anything could happen between 'now' and 'then'.

My opin: agree with above people that if you like/enjoy your '07, that even a major repair or a few less than major repairs in the next year or two is a blink compared to trading it and taking on another payment hunk, imo. The only real potential 'big hit' on a car of your vintage is a new auto trans, and that incident time can never be predicted.

Some people don't mind/are used to big car payments; I am not one of those people.

If you are Jonesing for a new '13, run the arithmetic and it's your choice. For me, a grand here or there on repairs, if needed, is way less of a hit on a bum's fixed income, than shelling out $40-$50 on a new $65-$70G car.
