Could it be a module gone bad? What/ which modules are responsible for coolant/fuel gauge, iF any?
Should I take out the gauge cluster and see if possibly the plug is loose (never been taken out).

That's very strange and not sure what else to try besides getting it scanned with a GT1.
Was working fine, stopped working, some came back, then things worked but swapped with others that didn't before - damn!
I think you don't have any faulty modules or equipment. I think you ran into a gremlin and that something just needs to be recoded/reset.
So, the only thing that has NOT come back at any time is the fuel gauge, correct?
