I have XM in my other cars right now but I'm OK with Sirius if need be (only use it for CNBC anyway).

Do I have any options for hooking up a satellite radio and controlling it through the head unit?

Mike,

Your best option is to replace your radio module (the unit located in the spare tire well) with one from a 2004 or newer. That will give you AUX inout and Sirius capability on your OEM head unit with full steering wheel control.
