Installed Extended Wheel Arches

I bought the extended fender flares from [email protected] - $309.00 (shipping included).

I also bought the Marston rivet gun from Amazon for $20.99 - (shipping included).

My son and I tackled the project together - took us 1 hr 45 minutes.
  1. We used a small drill to drill out the center of the rivet
  2. Took a punch and drove it into the rivet center
  3. Took a small prybar and wiggled it beneath the rivet while also using the punch to leverage the rivet out
  4. We used a jack to create some additional clearance in order to more easily get at the old rivets and to install the new rivets.

I used information gathered here using Search to pretty much come up with the above process.

Instead of using the jack we were going to try the technique to park the X on an incline to gain some additional space for working but the weather was nasty and we had a jack to use anyway!

All in all pretty easy!
