Thanx a lot for that!

I am not a dick I promise, far from it.
Spent many years on Rennlist helping other Porsche 928 owners to fix the things that I had already fixed. I genuinely enjoy giving back to the community.

Put it this way, I know a 1000 times more about the AC system in the X5 now than I did a few days ago. That's the exchange we all hope for when we visit these forums and I believe that's why most of us come here.

I have a friend, actually my wife's boss, who has a BMW and has suggested a local shop that will diagnose the fan for me if need be. He said he is a good guy who won't overcharge. Did a fan replacement on his 323 and only charged him 60.00 in labor so that sounds fair for that car. For me, all I want is the diagnosis and I will get the parts and repair it myself.

Thanks Again!
