If you have manual shift and are updating your steering wheel, you only need to remove the airbag, the upper steering wheel surround, and the steering wheel and be sure you have the correct lower steering wheel trim. when you install the new wheel be sure that the center of the metal part of the SWSU is aligned with the mark on the steering wheel shaft and the steering wheel.

The trim is not a wrap or painted. It is a CF set purchased from UK that has since been discontinued. AC-Schnitzer may offer CF trim but I am not sure.
