When you click the paddle there is no lag like I was experiencing using the shifter in manual. I have heard other owners make the same claim. I don't know why the paddles would be faster other than the shifter takes more time getting to the shift point. It certainly is a completely new experience with the paddles. I am in paddle mode before I leave the driveway. I do have Dinan transmission software but I had that before the paddles.

Thanks, I really like the CF over the wood trim I had. The interior all blends together rather than contrasting and it looks much richer to me.
