Dave- it IS a pain in the ass. You will need to remove a Torx bolt holding on the hose behind the TB and carefully move that toward the rear of the car to achieve more clearance. By this point you should have the intake tube and air box out, so the only thing left to do is bend over and start working at it with a flat-head or 6mm drive. A flex joint will help your angle somewhat if you go the 6mm route but overall it is just a pain in the ass.

Getting it back on is a little better but not much.
