Most policies say 'we will cover the value of your loss'...or 'the cost to repair the car with like kind and quality'.

They are saying $450 is the cost to repair this.

Insurers try to control this cost by using the cheapest they can find...your task is to find evidence that what they are proposing is NOT 'like kind and quality'.

nova- DO NOT say "oh the rain sensor doesnt work'...your insurer may actually refuse to repair it, as it was a result of the last repairs and NOT this one!
