You won't like the price of a new key. Check with them first as you have to bring some thing(s) I didn't have with me and had to make another trip before they would order a key.

There are a couple of shops in this area (Dallas) that specialize in BMW performance that I would call to see if they can help. Houston must be similar.

Just wondering, did he say why the ECU was fine otherwise?
