WOWZERS GUYS finally got the fuel filter changed and mercy what a process. I had a devil of a time getting both the clamp and single front hose off the filter. The back two wasn't so bad. Of course that was all compounded by being overly careful trying not to break any of the plastic fuel lines. I replaced the factory pressed on clamps with the screwdriver tightening solid band-style common on euro cars; my local Autozone sold them. Getting the ginormous belly pan re installed wasn't quite so bad as I was dreading.

Nevertheless I'm glad I got this done and the engine does seem to run a little smoother with a tad more power between shifting. Next on the list front brakes.
