OK so i'm going to give my opinion and don't get mad at me Diggs cuz I really appreciate the hard work and effort in your vehicle over the years:

As a fellow 5 speed owner I know how hard it's going to be come time for sale for me, there just aren't as many owners looking for a stick out there, the dealer will rape you on a trade in because of a manual, etc, so private sale is the only way to go.

I don't know about pricing wise but I'm always under the impression that mods don't add value, so honestly, I'd put in mileage and excellent condition under KBB or something and see what private party value you come up with.

As well, in my opinion your car will be harder to sell because you have very personalized mods which may or may not appeal to the masses, someone may not like the body kit on the car, or the type of aftermarket wheels you selected, or someone may not have a need for the stereo system etc. I tend to mod my cars more in an OEM+ style and not "overmod" it from top to bottom, because you never get that money back.

The body work is going to be the hardest sell because you have to have a buyer that wants the look that you put into your car and DOESN'T want the OE X5 look, whether in stock 3.0i trim or 4.6/4.8iS trim, as opposed to wheels which someone can change out easily if they don't like them for whatever reason (for example my car came with 18" style 69s but I got rid of them and bought 20" 168's since I knew I wanted to put 20" bmw wheels anyway), and I'll be blunt but unless you find someone who is in absolute love with every modification you did to your car I will be surprised if you get 9k for it with your mileage and considering it is an 01 going on 12 years old.

ESPECIALLY since everyone is looking for cheap cheap cheap and "give me your best price", I hope you see my opinion as objective and not take offense.
