thanks for your help. i connected 2 relays (one in each light) and i've still got a problem
i can turn the hid's on without any problem with the engine turn off.
roughly 4 seconds after i started the car, the relays started humming which forces the hid transformer to shut down.
after an hour of fault finding, i found out that the main beam voltage drops to around 8-9 V when it is connected to the relay (coil end). this happens even tho everything else is disconnected apart from signal wires to the coil.
disconnected the wires and the voltage goes back to 12-13V. arrgh!!!
i've quadriple doople checked everything and i'm stuck
. did anyone have this frustrating experience? any advice would be nice (my brain has shut down
)
