About your car sitting, as long as they are not charging you for the loaner, I wouldn't fight them on depreciation cost as they are giving you a free set of wheels in the meantime (not like they made you take out a rental car on your insurance policy or anything, which would suck ass since rental cars suck)
I would make my phone call to BMW NA and get them involved, this dealership is playing games and the fact they'd ask you to cough up the difference that their insurance company wouldn't pay is ridiculous. It's not like they are some Chuck with his Truck used car lot, they are a FRIGGIN BMW DEALERSHIP! You're telling me that they couldn't eat the difference? They sell 3 cars and they made that up already!

That is my feelings exactly! I couldn't believe that they even had the nerve to ask me that question, There was probably a good few seconds of air on the phone when I herd that (dumbfounded). I think I will contact the guy at BMW NA, doesn't seem right to send my car out to a place which is shutting down. It could be a great experience but the risk factor is to high. I will let all know what BMW NA has to say.
