If it was under the warranty then we WOULD likely be able to answer the question as well all had the same warranty from BMW.

My point is that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of "aftermarket warranties"...how could we possible give you an answer?

Here is a BIG TIP:

1. Read your warranty. Understand the terms and conditions.
2. Figure out what is wrong with the car
3. if the warranty excludes water damage but might otherwise cover the amp, or other electronics, then act accordingly.... clean up the water issue, then separately point out the amp stopped working.

I'm 99.99% sure if you bring in water logged modules, there is no warranty anywhere that will cover that.
