Customer Service - Nonexistent

So I'm shopping for the painted reflectors for my 2012 X5 and I browse multiple stores. One store has it for cheaper. $25 lower than all other stores that sell it. I was hesitant to place the order on this site. How is it possible that it's $25 lower? Too good to be true? Their website doesn't even mention what year X5 it's for. Just to call in if you have a 2010 X5. It doesn't even give you the option to choose if you have the side view camera or not.

Prior to ordering I had called in to verify that it does fit the LCI X5. They didn't know and had to call me back. No one called me back for a couple of days. I had to chat with their online chat support to find out.

I went ahead and placed the order. They decided to call my house, which my wife answers. They wanted to confirm what year (which I had provided in the comments) and if it did have the side view cameras. How would my wife know? She tells them to call me directly on my cell which they wouldn't do.

At this point I'm sort of frustrated. I just want to cancel the order. I rather pay more and order from another store if it means better customer service. Good customer service is hard to come by nowadays.

I get home and call them to cancel. The first person couldn't or wouldn't cancel my order. I had to wait for the CSR that called me. When I finally get him on the line he asks me why I want to cancel. I explained my frustration and how the website lacked all sorts of info. He proceeds to tell me that the website contained all the info. Lie! I asked how come when I placed the order the system couldn't just let me decide if I had the side view camera and his response was it is all indicated on the website. I even doubled check just now and it's not.

Instead of asking what he could do to keep my business, he asked if I still wanted to cancel. He continues with "the whole time we were discussing this, I could had confirmed everything". That's not the point! He's not obligated to offer me anything but shouldn't he at least try? I guess my single purchase means nothing to them. Not even being a past customer helped in my case.

Maybe I'm wrong for not educating my wife in the differences of the E70 X5s.

This vendor shall remain nameless. I am merely venting. But if you have sort of any idea who I'm talking about, check out their website and see for yourselves.

Thanks for listening to my rant. It was a long day at work me.
