Unfortunately not yet. Got a rag stuffed in plastic to keep the rain out. The front part is partially closed and the shade closes but I left the shade open to keep track of whatever moisture might get in. As soon as I have access to some tools I'm gonna try the repairs you suggested. Thanks again for the info
