Your picture describes perfectly what I said.
I think it will require buying two of those arch inserts (not sure what they are called) - and have them cut and painted. Thats the only major issue I see and I dont think thats a big deal
Just be careful as there are two X5M bumpers and I dont understand the difference

As for cutting.....I hope that's not the case, but if it needs to be cut so be it.  The X5M arches are shorter than my/our M-Sport arches, so I don't really think cutting will be necessary. PSI nor the member from Germany needed to have the X5M's fender extensions cut. About the only thing that might need some altering are the corners of the bumper (.. see pics below; the X5M's bumper line near the reflector is a few millimeters inward/off line). I also don't plan on connecting my fog lights (... I'm assuming they can be detached). If it throws a code I will have EAS fix it.
