Trying to sympathize with you over here but From the sound of your rant you may have made some poor decisions. We all do. But you can't blame fedex for that.
Here's what you chose to do. "This morning at 8:24AM, I received a text from FedEx indicating that the shipment was out for delivery but my text notification was turned off because I like my sleep. The doorbell rang around 9:25AM and it was apparently the FedEx delivery person with my package. I didn't bother getting out of bed to answer the door because I thought it might be solicitors. We get those all the time. About 15 minutes later, I got out of bed and found the delivery attempt notice on my door. Now I'm flaming mad. I think it's easy to conclude what happened.
When I'm expecting an important package I make ever effort to be on hand and alert for the delivery, that would include have my smart device turned on and answering the door when the doorbell rings.
Anyway I hope you get your Mac.
