That is a dsp amp indeed. Take a picture of your mid/cd player. As far as sound, you will need the dsp adapter. I had the same exact problem, both 3 and 6 pin connections, would see the ipod/Sirius, but no sound, installed the adapter and it worked. I started a thread about it in the audio forum. I got the blitz adapter off of amazon, it was cheap and shipped fast. LMK if you have any more questions. What is that bundle of wires and scotch locs? That needs a little cleaning up.

Also, it looks like you have the Bluetooth box right there, why did you get the mediabridge?
