Well...it's a toss up as to whether the OP has DSP or not. He definitely has a DSP amp (it has 3 connectors on top instead of 2)...but the MID is definitely NOT a DSP MID...the DSP icon would be on the same button as the AUDIO icon.
I'm inclined to agree with LowBlock on this one...more than likely the MID has been replaced by someone who didn't care or didn't know that there are multiple configured MIDs and you have to replace it with the same configuration.
This could also be the reason that you aren't getting full functions, too. Your amp isn't compatible with the MID you have installed (or vice-versa).
To solve this mystery...you need to pull up you build sheet and see if your X came from the factory with DSP...if it did...then you're gonna need a MID that has DSP to sort this out.
Go to this site and put in the last 7 digits of your VIN and correctly answer the math equation, then click the SEARCH button. Scroll down the page when it refreshes with the list of options your X came with and look for option code "
S677A HIFI SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL - HIFI SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL DSP"

FYI: for those that aren't familiar with the in-dash cassette/CD player & MID...this is what they have instead of the navigation screen. There's a HIGH version (goes with HIGH instrument cluster), a LOW version (goes with LOW instrument cluster) & optional DSP & PHONE buttons...again, if you replace your MID, you have to replace it with one that is optioned the same...if not, you can run into issues:
