Completed the job today. Didn't have to take off the cabin filter. In fact I am not sure why you would need to. The plugs are installed diagonal in the engine so taking the cabin filter above doesn't do anything to make room since you are not pulling the plugs vertically up. - as far as I can tell. The only thing to remove to make room for removing the back plug (Drive side) is to remove the hose bracket connected to the body (3 little screws). Just like the youtube video indicated.
