I test drove a 2005 4.8is. I found that it was kind of sluggish compare to my regular 2005 4.4. My 4.4 seem to shift stiffer and a stiffer ride.

Is it possible the reason that the 4.8is is a smoother ride because the tranny adapted the driving style of the previous owner?
