So true. Several members of my family are Benz owners (S class, E class, CLK AMG and SLK AMG), everytime I drive one I feel like I'm in an isolation chamber, no direct feedback to driver and non-linear controls. I feel fresh after a long drives in the Benz's (Benzi?), but feel like I just stepped out of a driving simulator.
IMHO, BMW strikes the correct balance between comfort and driver interaction. But then again I have logged over 100k miles in my '94 Viper with 700 hp (800lb GORILLA).
