a trip to a very friendly dealer, as they might not want to recode something... even though, there is nothing criminal about this at all... sometimes they get stupid...

but if you have the cable and those tools you were talking about, you might able to reprogram the amp - sometimes all you ned to do, is code the VIN into the module...
