Would third party shops be able to do such stuff? As in that case there's a nice third party shop in Austin that owes me a favor
As for the tools, I think I never found exactly what I needed. The one I was talking about was most definitely third party, and seemed somewhat limited to what I described above, and resetting certain error codes and such. I've been looking for what would be the good stuff, but never found a good source or guide or such that actually worked.
