I definitely know what the first one is..."catch with key code" means that your VIN will be required to order it, and it will arrive ready to use with your existing keys and will match the other lock cylinders (ignition & glove box).

I can only assume that the second part nbr is for a catch with a key which doesn't match your existing keys, ignition, & glovebox. Every now-and-then you run across threads where an owner will reveal that there ignition key won't open the door & trunk etc...this scenario just occurred on an e38 forum today (well 7/15/13): Keys don't work in door or trunk
