of course not... i do not know the numbers but it is obvious, the M mode is more aggressive and power demanding, and the power to the wheels demands more Joules produced at the powerplant, that will suck in more fuel to burn to generate the power...

simply driving aggressive without any computer mode changes will burn more fuel - and here you are changing the mapping of the power curvature, the fuel-air mixture, the timing... it is like drifting and expecting a long life out of the tires...
