IMO this is a poor seller. This doesn't sound like a case of buyers remorse. If the OP purchased the correct item, based on the sellers description, and it failed to work correctly with his vehicle then I would expect the seller to refund the entire purchase price.

To the OP: Did you try to exchange the lights for another set?
