for this "option" there is no reason to excercise the brain cells - just swap the seats, make sure that the GM is OK with the absence of the seat memory module...
the goal is not to reduce the number of options but rather to increase them - i like gadgets, not into racing, so weight reduction does not matter to me as much, even though it still saves on the gas... with 4.8iS, i am far from saving anything on the gas... lol...
