I haven't even started diagnosing anything. I will begin that tomorrow when I have time. And I've seen the DIY for replacing it, seems like a piece of cake. After I take it apart, I would be interested to see if the motor can be sourced somewhere and attached to the shroud somehow. That way you could have a back up fan assembly.
