Radio can be used without the key in. You just need to press the power to turn on the radio. By default it will turn off once the key is removed but you can turn it right back on.

The Windows will continue to have power with the key out of the ignition. But ONLY if the doors have not been opened yet. Once the doors open, the power is cut to the windows.
