Sorry, gents, I'm gonna ask a question that I could probably answer myself with diligent searching here. I'm just a little too burned out from work these days...

I've discovered I have a new oil leak from my M54. The oil drips from the stiffener plate, either front edge or rear edge, depending on whether I'm parked facing downhill or uphill, respectively. I really don't expect the leak is from my valve cover gasket (no oil on the exhaust header or smell) or the oil filter housing gasket (no oil underneath the filter housing or on the power steering lines). I replaced the valve cover gasket about 18 months ago, and the OFHG about 2 months ago. Could I now have a leak from the oil pan? Or, God forbid, someplace much more serious, like a main bearing?
