Even from aftermarket sources, purchasing BMW parts will make you say "that has to be a mistake" and swallow really hard.  |
They're both 5-speeds, so no tranny issues
I'm specifically looking for a manual trans as a matter of fact, so that limits my search drastically. And both are at dealers, unfortunately.
I drove the 178K car, and it felt worlds different than the 148K car. Much more body roll (probably still on factory struts), shifter was sloppy, etc. So I think I'm going to pass on that one. There's only a $1000 price difference between the two.
