One thing I'm beginning to notice is the lack of availability of used parts for these.

I'm a big mustang guy and have no issue heading to the local yards or u-pull and finding interior parts, clips, etc. I think I've seen one x5 being parted in the classifieds but it was black/black.

I did find the bavarian guys on ebay but their prices are about as high as mpsautosalvage.com is for mustangs lol. I guess the main reason is due to the demographic that owns bmw cars vs something like mustangs. you wreck your bmw, you take insurance check and buy another and let insurance sell it. mustang guys usually take the check and part the car to the ground and recycle the shell
