Sorry man, didn't mean for it to be defensive. I was merely pointing out two issues my wifes X5 is currently having and has had. Chasing electrical gremlins on these cars are usually tied right back to the Alt and then Battery. Trans comment was just adding another issue spoke about in this thread. So, google my username and you'll see I belong to many forums and that my sole goal on these forums is to help and find solutions for others to benefit. No need to continue
