It has been in a duffel bag with some other emergency stuff that I carry with me.
I carried it 11 years in case I got stopped so I could show that I was about to install it.

no front plate in PA... when car was in Costa Rica, they required two plates... I carried the front plate with me for couple years, never installed it, and everytime the cops pulled me for not having it, i told them that i am waiting for special bracket coming from Germany... Pura Vida!!!.. lol... got away with not having it at all... when the car got to Russia, i could not get away without the front plate, so i had the europlate installed... when the car came back to the US, i drove with temporary transit russian plates in the US for about a month, it was cool... finally i put on the regular PA plate on the back... many countries require two plates, some places even have different designs and/or sizes for the front and the back... in some places you can get away with ignoring the local laws, in some places - no way!!! i could do that in Costa Rica, the cops there are a joke... would never try it with military cops in Panama, unless i was ready to get shot... lol...
