There is a slight learning curve but I don't think its anything too tough once you start playing around with it, DIS is pretty straightforward.
If you got it running and are having problems with any of the programs let me know I can try to help, or post up here.

Where do I learn what the INPA graphs should read if all is normal? As one example, the rough page. Is there a acceptable range of rough or should all bars be at zero?
Where do I find the proper diagnostic sequences to narrow down the source of the problem. As an example, if a cylinder is out of the rough acceptable range what is the next step to find out why?
I wandered around in INPA looking for engine error codes. I think I found the location but how do I know for sure--there were no errors there so I don't know if I was in the wrong place or there were really no errors.
Is there a using INPA for dummies somewhere?
